Boathouse

Boathouse Staff

• Spend the day on the docks!
• Help customers board their rented craft
• Instruct customers in the proper use of their rented craft
• Assist with rescues on the lake when customers need help getting back to the docks
• Rig/de-rig sailing and windsurfing equipment
• Assist instructors with the set-up, take-down, and preparation of classes
• Clean the facility and boats
• Assist with general maintenance of equipment
• Primarily assist in the office, at the cash register, and in the retail shop

Camp Counselors

• Lead traditional camp and water sports activities for 6-12 year olds
• Answer to head counselor
• Write lesson plans and maintain rosters
• Assist with upkeep of facility and equipment
• Provide safe, fun, team-oriented environment for campers
• Must have/be willing to get Red Cross First-Aid/CPR Certifications
• Camps are five days a week and run from mid-June to the end of August

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Instructors

Youth Sailing/Windsurfing Camp Instructors

• Teach youths 9-15 years of age the skills of sailing and/or windsurfing
• Provide class support in motorboat
• Write lesson plans
• Maintain rosters
• Answer to Program Director
• Maintain equipment/facility
• Provide safe, fun, and team-oriented environment for all the campers
• Teach private lessons
• Must have/be willing to get Red Cross First-Aid/CPR Certifications
• Must have/be willing to get US Sailing or WIA Instructor Certification
• Camps are five days a week and run from mid-June to the end of August

Year-Round Adult Program Instructors

• Teach sailing, kayaking, and/or windsurfing to people over 14 years of age
• Classes are held on the weekends from Feb. through Oct.
• Write lesson plans
• Provide safe and fun learning environment
• Teach private lessons
• Must have/be willing to obtain Red Cross First-Aid/CPR Certifications
• Must have/be willing to obtain US Sailing or WIA Instructor Certification

Lakeside Café

Snack Bar

• Operate a small snack stand that offers ice cream, beverages, candy, and energy bars
• Operate the cash register and account for all monies
• Answer customers’ questions about the Aquatic Center
• Assist with set-up and take-down of snack bar
• Assist with general clean-up

Lakeside Café (Various positions include)

• Cooks, prep cooks, food preparers of hot and cold meals
• Espresso Bar operator
• Servers
• Cashiers and order takers
• Bussers, clean-up crew
