REI Paddle Demo Day at Shoreline Lake April 8, 2012 10:00am-3:00pm. FREE event. Join REI experts at Shoreline Lake in Mountain View to splash around in 2012's hottest new boats, stand up paddleboards, and paddling accessories. We'll provide all the gear, including paddles and PFDs so that you can check out the latest designs from Bic SUP, Current Designs, Dagger, Eddyline, Elie, eMotion, hurricane, Mad River, Ocean Kayak, Old Town, Perception, Surftech, Wilderness Systems, and others. Whether you're a beginning or experienced paddler, this is a great opportunity to test the waters and take advantage of the expertise offered by REI Outdoor School instructors, and our vendors. Best of all, the whole day is free! Anyone under age 18, who wishes to paddle, must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. Each attendee will receive a coupon for 15% off the purchase of a full-price boat or paddleboard (must be purchased within one week of Paddle Demo event; other coupon exclusions apply). American Windsurfing Tour is coming to Waddell Creek, Santa Cruz May 3-6, 2012 starting at 10am daily. This festival will include different divisions including masters, amateur, youth, and women.
