Private Lessons
The Shoreline Aquatic Center offers a variety of classes to aid you in reaching your dreams of sailing into the sunset, winning gold medals windsurfing, or kayaking down unexplored rivers.
We also understand that there comes a time when you just need some one-on-one work with an expert to perfect that jibe, to delve into the nuances of racing tactics, or to refine that stroke. In these cases, a private lesson is just what you need!
Private lessons are also an option if you have definite scheduling conflicts or want to organize a
special group event.

Groups of more than 3 people should contact the Boathouse to get a quote on lessons and to tailor a class to their needs.
To schedule, please call the Boathouse at least one week before the date you desire your lesson in order to guarantee instructor and equipment availability. We will do our best to accommodate your wishes!
Private lessons are aimed at meeting the needs of more advanced enthusiasts who have already taken a group lesson or who have gained experience on their own. While we may be able to schedule a beginner level private lesson if extenuating circumstances exist, private lessons should not be viewed as a true alternative to the intro classes. We will not sell a one hour introductory private lesson as such a short lesson tends to breed frustration more than a love of the sport.
